How we wear it: Explosion Necklace and Tear Drop Ring
Fair trade fashion for a night out on the town
We had so much fun at our event with the San Diego Style Bloggers at Bubbles Boutique in Downtown San Diego. It was a great way to kick off a month of holiday festivities! Here is Ashley, the VavaVida PR Padawan, modeling Vavavida’s fair trade Explosion Necklace and Tear Drop Ring. She couldn’t stand hanging out by our product table all night and telling everyone about all of the beautiful jewelry without playing a little bit of dress up! Ashley’s partner-in-crime and social media maven, Angellyne, snapped a few pics.
The Explosion Necklace
This pairs nicely with her red dress and adds some fun to her basic black blazer. The mixture of of semi-precious stones, recycled glass, paper beads, amber, brass and even ostrich eggshell makes for a great conversation piece!
The Tear Drop Ring
This translucid burnt orange ring allows the necklace to take the stage but keeps Ashley’s hand from being naked. Since it is almost flesh toned, the ring is a subtle adornment but makes a bold statement as soon as you notice it. The ring’s style is slightly retro enough to be fashionable and typically Indian in its craft. It is handmade in India by a co-op of artisans and is fair trade approved. This means that it dresses you up and simultaneously helps to support an Indian community.
