A delicious fair trade cereal bar

Our Equal Exchange Geobars are made with fair trade practices. These little but filling bars are packing a punch by incorporating ingredients from around the world. With apricots from Pakistan, honey from Chile, rice from Thailand, raisins from South Africa and sugar from Zambia, you will be simultaneously satisfying your hunger and helping small farmers.

What I love

I took these bars on a camping trip to Palomar Mt. and they were a lifesaver. Camping food can get a little bland when you are surviving on trail mix and granola bars. However, these bars mix up the flavor and keep things interesting.

When I took a bite of the apricot bar, the burst of freshness provided a much-needed break from the bland food and dry heat. The chocolate raisin bar is also delicious without being overly sweet.

What is is sweet is the price. They are sold in a pack of 6 for $5.96, putting it at about $1 per bar.

What you might not love

While I personally think these bars are filling, they are a little on the small side. This is no giant-sized Power Bar if that is what you are looking for. However, their little size makes both the apricot bar and the chocolate raisin bar only 120 calories each!
